North End Coastal Living in Virginia Beach
The North End is a long, narrow strip of beach running from the famous Cavalier Hotel north to the historic Cape Henry Lighthouse. Commonly referred to as the โGold Coastโ, it is located from 41st Street to 89th Street. Its eastern boundary is the Atlantic Ocean; its western boundary is partly formed by First Landing State Park. You can reach the North End of Virginia Beach via Shore Drive (from the west) or you can approach from the south via Atlantic Avenue or Pacific Avenue.
There are many types of classic beach homes here that vary from traditional beach condos, duplexes, and cottages to multi-million dollar mansions. The gorgeous unobstructed views draw you in. Many of the oceanfront homes have an expansive view of the Atlantic that you just canโt beat. You are sure to get swept away in the quiet serenity and privacy of this established community, yet appreciate that you are close enough to the ocean front area to enjoy all the amenities a resort area offers.
Donโt miss First Landing State Parkโs 2889 acres and 20 miles of trails! Virginia's most visited state park offers nature and history programs, a boat launch, and plenty of places to picnic as well as a multitude of activities including swimming, biking, boating, and hiking.
