August has settled into Hampton Roads with late-summer gardens, heavy rain, tomatoes at their peak, local events filling the calendar, and plenty of real estate conversations happening before the sign ever goes in the yard.
In this month’s issue of Porch Views & Property News, I’m sharing a little bit of home, market, and community — from late-summer home tips and an easy tomato tart to Hampton Roads market snapshots, local events, and practical guidance for buyers, sellers, and homeowners thinking ahead.
The theme running through August is context. A headline number never tells the whole story, whether we’re talking about price, inventory, financing, flood coverage, or how quickly homes are moving.
